The Barnabas* Letter

*Son of Encouragement Acts 4:36

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters

--Psalm 23

Who we are:

God has used my wife and myself through a newsletter called The Barnabas Letter which we published quarterly when we lived in Littleton, Colorado several years ago. We chose the name Barnabas because the Biblical name means "Son of Encouragement" [Acts 4:36]. Barnabas of the New Testament was an encourager in God’s work. We, like him, simply want to encourage God’s Children.

We can not offer pat answers for the many challenges we face in life, but we can simply share what God puts on our hearts. We realize that we, through our own efforts, are unable to help anyone grow up in the Lord. But what we can do is minister Christ in our writing and let God give the increase. Our articles -- some longer, some shorter -- can be found below. Each title links to the article. We encourage your feedback and our email link is at the bottom of the page.

We dare ask you to pray for us that we will minister in writing the things that are on God’s heart. Thank you for your prayers and thank you, Lord, for what you are going to do. Amen.

Unless otherwise indicated, all scripture references are from the New International Version of the Bible.
